Battle Magic (Anthology)
Edited by Martin H. Greenberg & Larry Segriff

Battle Magic at Amazon.com Includes various types of "Battle Magic" stories. One of the stories deals with samurai thing in Japanese setting. The story is ... hmmm ... difficult to comment. I'm not going to say the story is bad or something. It's just the naming and/or transliterated words sound so strange to Japanese or at least to me. I think people won't just say daimyo did this or that. A bit of study in Japanese culture should have made the story more interesting. Other stories are not much different. I know most of the authors can do better and this anthology is, all in all, somewhat weak.
